The South West and Welsh Contact Centre Fora are once again hosting an exclusive day of reward and recognition for the Top 50 Team Leaders from across Wales and the South West.

Top 50 Team Leaders will be a day dedicated to celebrating and developing the skills of the regions best Team Leaders, with workshops involving influential speakers, offering an invaluable insight into the future of the industry.

Dr Paul Thomas

Back by popular demand! Described by the BBC as the Business Doctor, Paul is a respected voice on organisational development and structures that allow people to thrive and flourish. He believes in unlocking the potential of staff to solve problems themselves and reveals ways to increase effectiveness, outcomes and service without losing front-line staff. In this stimulating morning Paul will be looking at the theory of leadership and how this can be applied for maximum effectiveness. Paul is on a journey to save the world from managerialism, top down control and ill-health in the workplace. Paul is passionate about people, fun and freedom and has constantly sought to help change lives for the better via education, creativity and thinking critically about what really matters. 

Lynda Campbell

For ten years Lynda was Director of Wales at British Gas and during this team was responsible for 3,000 people at 2 sites in Cardiff, as well as the Service Excellence Function across multiple centres on and off shore for 7,000 staff. Under Lynda's leadership, the Cardiff contact centre achieved 28 industry awards including European Contact Centre of the Year and coming second in the World Contact Centre Awards. Lynda now heads a business and training consultancy which helps organisations achieve cultural transformation and deliver high performance, buidling customer service strategies to succeed with their customers. As part of her presentation Lynda will be looking at Helping Service Organisations transform their culture and build and execute Customer Service Strategies to deliver high performing service. 

Suzanne Avent

Nationwide

Suzanne is the Senior Operations Manager for Nationwide Building Society and has considerable experience managing and implementing change and technology programmes. This includes website redesign and an end-to-end mail scanning OCR/ICR system with a workflow management solution.
